There are great Gardens and lots of areas for walking and cycling - particularly in the Malvern hills pictured above. Of course Warwick Castle and Kenilworth (medieval) Castles are great days out too and everyone loves chocolate - Cadbury World is a visitor attraction, featuring a self-guided exhibition tour, created and run by the Cadbury chocolate company. There is the West Midland Safari safari park and National sealife centre in Worcestershire too.

The Severn Valley Railway is a heritage railway in Shropshire and Worcestershire. The 16-mile (26 km) heritage line runs along the Severn Valley from Bridgenorth to Kidderminster, crossing the Shropshire/Worcestershire border, following the course of the River Severn for much of the time. So no need to be worried about what to do - book your holiday cottage and then spend time considering you holiday itinerary.
