The kitchen/ diner is a fabulous space offering all appliances needed for the designated chef to delight, however, if the chef in your party fancies the night off; head to Bamburgh and take your pick from the variety of restaurants and bars on offer which serve very tasty food for the whole family to enjoy together.
Once the night draws in, head upstairs to the comfortable bedrooms with all the essentials on hand for a great night’s rest. To the front of Annie Oswalds, you’ll find a patio area, a great sunny spot with some pretty potted plants and features ideal with a glass of something cold! The magical history of Northumberland is all waiting to be discovered just a short drive from Annie Oswalds with dominant castles and endless beaches all within easy reach.

Located perfectly between the village of Belford and the scenic coastal village of Bamburgh, Adderstone is an attractive and accessible rural area, ideally positioned in the heart of the Northumbrian countryside. It’s perfect for those wishing to explore the many historic and iconic local sites nearby starting with Bamburgh; there is much to do in the village alongside the castle and its amazing history, there are impressive stretches of pure golden sandy beaches, many English tea rooms and restaurants, St. Aidan’s Church and a newly renovated museum dedicated to Grace Darling.


Why not hit the waves with a trip to the Farne Islands? Take a boat trip from Seahouses and see the medieval Pele Tower and Victorian Lighthouse, as well as the famous sea bird colony. Depending on the time of year, you might catch a glimpse of the friendly seals and puffins that visit the islands’ shores. Golfers flock to Bamburgh, where the Bamburgh Castle Golf Club offers a particularly picturesque round. A short trip south brings you to the Historic Market Town of Alnwick.
