The property is all on the ground floor, has gas central heating and comprises:
Open plan living space.
Lounge area: Large with wood burner, 42" Freeview TV, French doors to the garden and lovely views.
Dining area.
Kitchen area: Spacious with tiled floor, breakfast bar, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine.
Bedroom 1: With zip and link super king size bed (can be twin beds - please advise when booking) and en-suite with shower, bath, WC and heated towel rail.

All gas, electric, bed linen and towels included. Initial fuel for wood burner provided. Wi-Fi. Welcome pack.

Enclosed garden with sitting-out area and furniture. BBQ. Parking (2 cars). No smoking.

Great for couples wanting to treat themselves to a luxurious, romantic break, the property is quiet and private yet still lies only one and a half miles away from the popular market town of Hexham.

All on one level, Snooty Fox Cottage is perfect for guests of all ages and offers excellent fixtures and fittings throughout. Once two converted stables, Snooty Fox Cottage is spacious, light and airy and offers great views across the surrounding countryside. The living room is spacious and comfortable with top quality Karndean flooring and excellent quality sofas as well as French doors that open out onto the private garden area with outdoor seating and BBQ. The kitchen is open plan to the lounge, modern and well equipped with granite breakfast bar and worktops.

The bedroom offers guests a zip and link bed that can be separated into two full twin beds or combined to make one super king size bed, and the en-suite bathroom offers a bath, separate shower cubicle and heated towel rail. There is ample parking for two cars and also plenty of outdoor furniture to use and enjoy.

Hexham is a popular tourist location and offers plenty of restaurants, bistros and cafes, as well as specialist boutiques, art galleries and gift shops. There is also a leisure centre with swimming pool, golf course, tennis courts and plenty of walks along the river for those guests who enjoy a more active holiday. For guests wanting to enjoy a theatre break, Hexham has its own theatre that is open all year round as well as many popular historic attractions including Hexham Old Gaol. Also perfect for guests wanting to enjoy a walking or cycling holiday, there are many established footpaths and cycle paths that lead directly through the owner’s grounds and out towards the towns and villages in the surrounding areas.



This is Hadrian’s Wall country and guests will be able to explore many of the historic Roman forts and settlements along the wall itself. A day trip to Vindolanda, Aydon Castle and Dilston Castle are a must as well as a trip to nearby Newcastle upon Tyne which is only a 20 minute drive away, and offers cultural centres including The Sage and the Centre for Life as well as an extensive range of shops and boutiques. The popular Metrocentre is based in Gateshead and can be reached within a 25 minute drive and offers guests the chance to browse through the largest shopping centre in Europe, as well as enjoying a meal in one of the many restaurants or a film in the multi-screen cinema.
