Only 7 miles away, Hexham is a thriving town that boasts plenty of history as well as shops, cafés, restaurants and attractions including Hexham Old Gaol and Hexham Abbey. Perfect for guests who enjoy visiting historical sites, Hadrian’s Wall is situated very close by with popular Roman settlements and sites dotted along it. Housesteads Roman Fort and Vindolanda are only 12 miles away as is the National Landscape Discovery Centre called The Sill which is great to visit at any time of year.
