Just a little further round the coast is Margate’s old town, home to a unique selection of retro shops along with the famous Turner Contemporary Art Gallery which has modern and historic art exhibitions all year round.
The coastal towns of Deal and Dover are only a short drive away, why not take a day trip by ferry for lunch in Paris, or visit the iconic white cliffs of Dover, there is so much to do and enjoy from this central location. For history and culture lovers, Canterbury is approximately 30 minutes’ drive. Here you can visit the famous cathedral, explore the city walls and take a river tour through time or just relax in one of the many wine bars it has on offer. Beach 50 yards.
