Chichester Water sports offer a complimentary boat service across the lake for breakfast lunches and dinner. In addition, there are many nearby eateries and pubs within a very short walk.
Chichester and beyond the city centre of Chichester is within a short drive or a twenty-minute walk from Chichester Water sports. The streets are packed with listed buildings including the imposing cathedral which has been a part of Chichester history for almost 1000 years.

The city centre is enclosed within the ancient city walls which is ideal for exploring by foot. With its plethora of attractions shops and restaurants it is a cosmopolitan city with a vibrant and friendly vibe. It is also home to the famous Festival Theatre which is renowned for its quality of productions as well as featuring many world premieres. We have a link to the theatre and its many prestigious showings in our What’s on section. With such a long and varied history Chichester is of course home to a dynamic arts scene and offers many galleries and museums to peruse.
Just a short drive and you can be in Chichester Harbour an area of outstanding natural beauty which is one of the few remaining undeveloped coastal areas in Southern England and remains relatively wild. Its wide expanses and intricate creeks are at the same time a major wildlife haven and among some of Britain’s most popular boating waters. If a trip to the seaside is on your agenda, then look no further than West Wittering beach which is a twenty-minute drive away.

Offering wonderful views of Chichester Harbour and the South Downs beyond the natural and unspoilt sandy beach at West Wittering has been a favourite destination for a family day out for generations. The highest water quality and excellent facilities have made it one of the premiere Blue Flag beaches in the country.
From Chichester Water sports you can venture north to the South Downs and Trundle Hill offers spectacular views back to the city as well as a great view over Goodwood Racecourse where the prestigious Glorious Goodwood meeting takes place in high Summer. The wonderful Downland hills make this an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Places to visit The Wittering’s Goodwood, The Weald and Downland Museum.
