Fresh for the Summer Season of 2021, Trees Annexe is a beautifully appointed, detached bungalow, situated in a rural location on the north of the Island only a short drive from the UK’s sailing mecca of Cowes, the coastal village of Gurnard and the beach at Thorness Bay.
Able to more than comfortably accommodate a group of four, the property is sited next to the owner’s home, and offers its guests a great deal of privacy due to its rural location, there is plenty of parking to the front, whilst the double length garage has had a charging point for electric vehicles fitted and provides plenty of storage for your bicycles or even a small boat. This gorgeous holiday home is so spacious and has lots of luxurious touches that will make your stay extremely enjoyable. The large outside patio area, and the central sun room, are perfect for socialising in the evenings with a few drinks, and when it’s time to head to bed after a busy day enjoying the island, you’ll find welcoming beds making this property perfect for a family break or an escape with friends.
Located just a few minutes’ drive from the historic and vibrant sailing town of Cowes and the ferry terminal. Cowes offers a variety of lively bars, restaurants and boutique shops on the doorstep, and Cowes Week is the oldest and most celebrated sailing regatta in the world with spectacular racing, fireworks and aerial displays. Also nearby is the coastal village of Gurnard where you can enjoy a dip in the sea, drink coffee and eat cake from one of the cafés or sample the locally caught seafood. The area is popular for sailing as well as other water sports. Enjoy an ice cream or have a barbecue by the beach whilst enjoying one of the breath-taking Gurnard sunsets, and the great views of the Solent.
There are a few small shops in the village, as well as two pubs which serve food and offer a selection of Island Ales. Outdoor pursuits on the island really are well-catered for, and include horse riding, fishing, cycling, paragliding, and golf.
Major attractions on the Isle of Wight are in plentiful supply with something sure to suit everyone. For history and culture, you could visit Queen Victoria’s own former holiday residence at Osborne House or take a tour of Carisbrooke Castle. The Needles rock formations and lighthouse, and the coloured sands of Alum Bay have plenty to keep you occupied. Whatever you decide, one thing is for sure, Trees Annexe and the Island have plenty to offer to make your holiday a memorable one
