Staying in Kent

The Kent Downs runs through the centre of the county and the High Weald is to the south. Kent, one of the home counties, is also known as 'The Garden of England' and has an abundance of fruit growers and more specialist hops.

Being by the sea Kent also has some important ports and towns. Dover is the most well known port in the midst of the famous White Cliffs. Deal, Ramsgate, Margate, Folkestone and Whitstable are just some of the seaside towns found in Kent.

Inland some the places to visit are Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and of course Cantebury.
