First Floor:
Bedroom: With double bed and en-suite with shower cubicle, toilet and heated towel rail.

Gas central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Travel cot and highchair available on request. Welcome pack. Enclosed courtyard garden with sitting-out area, garden furniture and barbecue. On road parking. No smoking.

Extra Amenities

Highlands Retreat has a large open living and kitchen area with a breakfast bar for dining and well-equipped with everything you could need to cook a meal to enjoy together indoors or outside in the enclosed courtyard area. There is a large Smart TV in the living room, where you can cosy up on the sofa to watch a movie, put together one of the puzzles in the property or play a card game together. Patio doors lead from here through to the small, enclosed outdoor sitting area with garden furniture and a charcoal BBQ. There is a sofa bed in the living area, suitable for two additional guests and conveniently there is a toilet room located downstairs.
Upstairs, there is a comfortable bedroom with a double bed and an en-suite shower room. There is a hanging rail for clothes and a chest of drawers. Highlands Retreat has been decorated to a high standard throughout and has beach items on the walls to make you feel close to the seaside. While this annexe is located next to the owners’ own home, you feel secluded and have your own private area with a high fence for your privacy.

The parking available is on-street parking, and there is space on the residential street outside also.
Barton-on-Sea beach is an easy 15-minute walk away, as well as a number of cafés, shops and pubs. Highcliffe Castle is nearby and is a picturesque, Grade 1 listed building with beautiful grounds and steps leading down to a pebbled beach. The New Forest is only a short drive away with its fantastic walks and cycle routes, and whilst here you are sure to come across the free roaming horses, donkeys and cattle. The New Forest is home to many quaint towns and villages, where you will find independent shops to browse and many places to dine out.
The popular sailing town of Lymington has a weekly market, cobbled streets leading down to the harbour, open air natural swimming pool and ferries across to the Isle of Wight.

Visit the market town of Christchurch with its scenic harbour, beautiful priory and a high street. There are several nearby nature reserves including Hengistbury Head, a Site of Special Scientific Interest, with unique habitats and protected wildlife and Stanpit Marsh. Bournemouth is easily accessible with its award-winning sandy beaches and an Oceanarium with penguins.
Other popular places to visit nearby include Beaulieu Motor Museum, Exbury Gardens, Bucklers Hard, Furzey Gardens, New Forest Tours, Liberty’s Owl Raptor and Reptile Centre, Moors Valley Country Park and Hurst Castle. Slightly further afield is the Bovington Tank Museum, Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, Marwell Zoo and Monkey World. There are a variety of golf courses and fishing options nearby to choose from. This is the ideal base for exploring the local area and coming back to your holiday home to relax and enjoy spending time together
