Nestled on the northern shores of the island, Stonecot is a detached, single-storey, two bedroom holiday home, with access to a nearby secluded shingle beach. Discover this amazing part of the Isle of Wight where you can enjoy the peace and quiet, and are highly likely to spot one of the islands famous red squirrels. The property can sleep three people and offers a living/dining room, kitchen, spacious double bedroom and a further single bedroom with a modern fitted shower room and off road parking for one car. The beach offers fantastic views across the Solent to Portsmouth where you can spot the landmark Spinnaker Tower which forms an impressive backdrop to a busy shipping channel.
A short distance away is the seaside town of Ryde with its good selection of individual shops, restaurants, bars, tea rooms and large sandy beach. Along the promenade you will find lots to do with tennis courts, ten-pin bowling, a fun fair, canoeing and a swimming pool all available. Other attractions which are within easy reach include Osborne House, Quarr Abbey, Carisbrooke Castle, Amazon World, Robin Hill Adventure Park and the world famous yachting at Cowes.
The Isle of Wight is renowned for having a warm, sunny climate, and there are plenty of tourist attractions you can enjoy in the sun. Discover quaint villages, indulge in cream teas, enjoy local produce such as garlic at The Garlic Farm, adventure parks, museums, zoo, donkey sanctuary, wildlife centres, pearl factory, The Needles, traditional pottery, vineyards, steam railway, pretty coves and much more.
