Coastal Hideaway is a first floor, two-bedroom apartment, situated in the centre of the coastal town of Sandown, a few steps from Sandown Beach. The apartment offers vast sea views and there are plenty of fantastic coastal walks to do nearby. Accessed by a private entrance, this wonderful apartments makes use of a well-equipped kitchen/dining room with beautiful sea views, as well as comfortably furnished living room complete with a gas, flame-effect fire, perfect for cosying up on those cooler evenings. Both bedrooms have use of built-in wardrobes, and have access to the family shower room.
There are many pubs and eateries nearby in Sandown, as well as in the nearby towns of Shanklin, Ryde and Ventnor.
This coastal retrat in found in southern Isle of Wight offering a wonderful promenade, a beach which stretches for miles, as well as plenty for families to do. This part of the coast is popular for kitesurfing and other water sports. The sandy dog friendly beaches make this a great spot for dog lovers all year round, so your four-legged friend can enjoy a break with you. Sandown has a great selection of attractions, including a Zoo, housed in an old fort, and a purpose built interactive Dinosaur Museum. For train enthusiasts, 5 miles away is Haven Street Steam Railway, where you can look around the museum and enjoy a silver service dining experience whilst taking a ride on the train.
From Sandown, you can explore South Wight and West Wight. In the south you will find Shanklin less than half an hours drive away, and the journey to Ventnor isn’t much further. Just north of Sandown, you’ll find Yaverland, where the beaches are slightly quieter. Further inland is Brading and more to the west you can visit the harbour villages of Bembridge, Seaview and St Helens for more dog friendly beaches and lovely places to eat.
