Another place not to miss is the world famous Eden project which is under an hour’s drive away. Infact the Over Park at Cargurra Farm is less than an hour’s drive from the M5 so accessible from many places.
Any level of cyclists will enjoy The Camel Trail. This is a 19 mile route that follows the Camel River from Padstow, where it joins the sea in a wide estuary, to Poley’s Bridge inland, where it is merely a stream running through woodland. Should you feel you need a rest, plan a stop at Nanstallon where you will find the Camel Trail Tea Rooms. After a busy day sightseeing, you can return to the peaceful surroundings of Over Park
Over Park cottage is one of five properties located at Cargurra Farm. This self-catering property has been converted from a Victorian barn and very sympathetically restored. Located, upstairs is a well equipped kitchen-diner-lounge. There are two comfortable leather sofas and a woodburning stove to ensure that you are warm whatever the weather. There is stereo plus TV with DVD player should you want the time to sit down and relax. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. It has all that you would need for a relaxed self-catering holiday.
Downstairs are the two bedrooms, a double and a twin plus a shower room. The double bedroom has its own basin in the bedroom and ample storage space in a wardrode and chest of drawers. The twin room is located next door and equally has good storage space too. Outside you can find the gardens, games room with table tennis and pool table and the working farm that you are welcome to roam.
Electricity, heating and logs for the burner are included in the price. Bed linen is provided. The change over day is Saturday with check in 3pm and check out 10am. The property is available for short breaks. No pets are allowed.
Follow M5 south, turn off at junction 31 onto the A30 towards Okehampton/Exeter. Travel along the A30 (Dual Carriageway) towards Launceston (about 45 miles). Go past the Launceston Exits. 3 miles past Launceston, leave dual carriageway and take A395 to Wadebridge. Drive 8 miles into Hallworthy (Hamlet), take second right onto B3262 to Bude. Go 11/2 miles, turn right at T-junction onto A39 to Bude (More
important road). 1/2 mile, turn left to Marshgate/Boscastle. After 1 mile, turn left to Tresparrett then continue for 1 1/2 miles (through Tresparrett). When you have to give way, turn sharp left to St. Juliot Church (Ignore earlier St Juliot Church Sign). Take first left (Signed Cargurra) after 300 yards. Follow road over a cattle grid, through fields and over a second cattle grid, past the first building and onto the car park.
