For the shopper, Cowes has some great upmarket shops as well as independent traders and fresh provision shops that make it one of the best shopping centres on the Isle. There are many and varied places to eat as well as great places to buy fresh food – fresh fish, meat and bakery products - for preparing back at your holiday cottage. And while you’re exploring the town and its surrounds, you’ll find some great restaurants, pubs and wine bars to relax in. Naturally enough, given the town’s maritime history and heritage, there are several museums dedicated to boating and yachting that are well worth a visit.
