On a quiet one-way street in Tunbridge Wells, this dog-friendly Georgian cottage began life as an 1800s coach house. Today it offers a light, characterful base within walking distance of the town’s attractions, blending period charm with the comforts needed for an easy family or group stay. The setting feels tucked away from the bustle, yet cafés, shops, parks and historic streets are all close enough to enjoy without much planning.
Inside, the cottage feels bright and homely, with a spacious well-equipped kitchen for cooking and gathering.

A large pantry provides useful storage and laundry facilities, keeping the practical side of a holiday neatly tucked away. The sleeping arrangements include one room with twin beds, one with a queen bed and a downstairs double, with a double sofa bed available on request for extra flexibility. The layout gives guests options, whether travelling as a family, friends or a mixed-age group. Period character and modern convenience sit comfortably together, making the cottage feel both distinctive and easy to use.
Outside, the secure south-facing garden is a peaceful place to enjoy the sunshine, unwind with a drink or give dogs a safe space to stretch their legs.

Private parking is available for one medium-sized vehicle, with additional on-street parking nearby subject to local permit restrictions. Tunbridge Wells has plenty to explore, from the historic Pantiles, independent shops and markets to Dunorlan Park and Calverley Grounds. The High Weald offers scenic walks and welcoming country pubs, while Scotney Castle, Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Bewl Water, Hastings and Rye are all rewarding options for days ou
