If you’re visiting with your four-legged friend, there are plenty of scenic coastal walks and dog-friendly spots on the local beaches and promenades where you can visit Roker and Seaburn beaches, the National Glass Centre, and the Stadium of Light for football fans.
Newcastle is accessible via bus or Metro but well worth the trip, with its vibrant nightlife, shopping, and cultural landmarks like the BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art, the Glasshouse and historic Quayside, and the impressive Newcastle Castle.

For history lovers, Durham is just a short journey away, home to the stunning Durham Cathedral and Castle, charming riverside walks and boutique shopping.
