Yarmouth beach holiday accommodation on Isle of Wight.

The town of Yarmouth itself, while undoubtedly an extremely pretty place offering some delightful places to eat, is not a shoppers’ paradise; you’ll have to pop along to Freshwater to otherwise exercise your credit card! But then this is one of the joys of a self-catering holiday here on Isle of Wight, it's a wonderful Island to stay on. There’s a lovely walking pier in Yarmouth, together with easy access to the island’s fabulous coastal path. The ‘Longstone’ - two large pieces of stone randomly situated in the middle of a field - are defined as one of the 25 most historic attractions on the Isle, and are worth a visit if only to check out the variety of fascinating urban myths associated with them. The site of the iconic 1970 Isle of Wight pop festival at Tapness Farm Park has some intriguing decorated plastic life-size cows that are worth a look. There is a daily ferry from the town to Lymington on the mainland. You are sure to return again once you have visited Isle of Wight and Yarmouth accommodation is first class for the family - couples and of course dogs - holiday activities include all things beach and sailing related.
